This book contains a very fine selection of alphabets, patterns and designs for needlework - all printed in two colors on 82 plates. Thirty-seven plates present a remarkable wealth of designs: geometric patterns, floral motifs, crowns, anchors, butterflies, phoenixes, griffins, animals, children playing and monograms. There are also two beautiful full-page scenes. In addition, there are 27 alphabets on 45 plates with script and print lettering from Gothic to modern with charming ornamentation.
