This softcover folio contains the complete instructions, diagrams and patterns for making Mikhailov lace. This is a lesser known Russian lace which is practiced in Mikhailov, a district in the province of Ryazan, South of Moscow. The colors used are inspired by the colors of thee national costume of central Russia and more particularly of the Ryazan region. The lace is always fixed on natural color linen and is used mostly as a border for tablecloths, decorative cloths and towels.
